i disagree with skips for many reasons: 1 it is only a fake running, it is comparable as taichi in the martial arts, in other terms may develop only some cinestetic ability ad mere coordination but not power . 2. to increase power in a motion it is required to create a progressive overload/resistance and this is not the case of the skips since are without any resistance. 3 when sprinter accelerates ,the weight produced is direct consequence of the speed during the downward motion and so increase the weight of the body.. 4. in other terms in the real running the sprinter does not run as in skips, the vectorial forces are very diferent. 5. the skips were adopted as a attempt to reproduce the adavantage of pliometry but is very litle advantages. 6. the fact that sprinter do the skips is due by the fact thay are used to do,but this is not a grant the skips are very useful exercise, any talented sprinter would better even doing any other exercise. It does exist a lot of variant in the vane atempt to create a simulation/emulation of the sprnt (parachutes, vest linked to a weight, and so on) all not real useful as they modify the asset of the baricentre and so the way of running.
Ah, what a fantastic way to coalesce a bunch of cramps into one big one that you can never reach again, so you can be in your 40s and come up with all these "random aches".

Hey Coach, Why should we only do this for 4 weeks? Should we then change to a new french contrast program for the lower body?
Try looking up pylometric box jumps, helps a lot with explosiveness and force

People who ask this question are wondering if the muscular arms come from sprinting, lifting, or both. I say, it depends on the genetics. I know sprinters who never lifted, but their upper bodies were jacked. Other sprinters, like Eryon Knighton, must lift to get big arms.
A coach who really knows how to provide the right "in-the-moment" feedback. Your athletes are lucky to have you. Well done, sir.

Sir why dont you use olympic lifts in your program
Probably because his approach to training doesn't require his athletes to become too big and strong. It's about speed and agility. Lifting heavy makes you stiff and slow

What’s the reps for this
Ever since I started control lifting I have got much stronger way faster than lifting this way. We use to life like this in high school but I seen way better results with more control and muscles under stress

If you did those and nothing else you'd be in great shape

Absolutely. Most of this training focuses on acceleration and power which applies to soccer
